Lauren C. Anderson is an internationally recognized national security expert, global strategic advisor, and former senior FBI executive with nearly three decades of leadership in intelligence, counterterrorism, and counterintelligence.
During her 29-year FBI career, she broke barriers as one of the first women on an FBI SWAT team and as the first woman to lead the Bureau’s Legal Attaché office in Paris, directing operations across 24 countries, including 22 in Africa. Today, Ms. Anderson applies her expertise at the intersection of international security, governance, and global leadership, advising governments, corporations, nonprofits, and women-led enterprises across Africa, South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. She is an active member of the Council on Foreign Relations, International Women’s Forum, Women Corporate Directors, Women’s Foreign Policy Group, and several law enforcement and intelligence associations.
