About my guest Terry Chowanec

Terry Chowanec is the former Vice President of National Security Operations with Cadillac Fairview Corporation, recently retiring from Cadillac Fairview after 12 years with the company.

Prior to joining Cadillac Fairview, Terry led police reform projects throughout the U.S. and internationally while based in Washington, D.C. while at the pre-eminent policing think tank, the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF).

He is quite proudly a former member of the Calgary Police Service having served in patrol, as an undercover operator in the Drug Unit, as an investigator in the Criminal Intelligence Section, in various capacities the Chief’s Office, and finally in charge of Internal Affairs. Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of Manitoba.
