Sorry, this was a trick question. There is no real answer. Yes, a lot of terrorists are of the XY genotype (i.e. male) but a lot are of the XX (female) too.

A female suicide bomber trained and tasked by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) set off explosives as she was about to be searched at a police station in a high-security zone in Colombo, Sri Lanka, killing five and wounding eight civilians and police officers. She had been brought in for questioning after security guards prevented her from entering a Tamil minister’s office.
If war is thrust on us, we are prepared to respond.

This was the first attack since 2005 when the government and the LTTE entered a cease-fire agreement. That sure was some way to end it!
