We seem to have terrorism on the brain these days. There are innumerable stories about it in the media and we are constantly bombarded with news of the latest attack and the responsible perpetrators. Consequently, the term ‘terrorist’ is applied to all kinds of people and groups by all kinds of commentators for all kinds of reasons. But is this application accurate and consistent?
