MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – Is it not sickening how many ‘heroic’ terrorists are anything but?
I am not sure what image you have of terrorists and their actions but I sure hope it is not ‘heroic‘. Oh sure, many will portray themselves as the vanguard of virtue, fighting the good fight for the benefit of all. In their minds, at least as far as the Islamist terrorists are concerned, they are doing ‘God’s’ work.
And they paint the ‘enemy‘ – i.e. just about everyone who does not like their view of the world – as a vastly superior force against whom they will win. Why? Coz ‘God’ is on their side. What is there not to like?
Except that many terrorists are actually cowards who attack people who cannot defend themselves. Take today’s featured incident.
On this day in 2018
A 24-year-old Bangladeshi woman was arrested in Melbourne, Australia after carrying out an Islamic State (ISIS)-inspired stabbing against a man identified by neighbours as a 56-year-old nurse. Here’s where the pusillanimity comes in: the victim received neck and shoulder injuries while he was asleep. And she was renting a room in the home of the man she stabbed!
It’s extremely sad for a family that was so keen to give people an Australian experience and so welcoming to so many students, that something as terrible can happen through nothing other than generosity and seeking to open their home.

The terrorist was later sentenced to 42 years in prison and later secreted a pair of garden shears in her headscarf before trying to stab another prison inmate! Some hero (or heroine), eh?
