Human rights groups discuss the 2019 Global Terrorism Index

The seventh annual Global Terrorism Index covers key global trends and patterns in terrorism.

In Ottawa, representatives from the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) and the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) at Concordia University hold a news conference for the Canadian launch of the Global Terrorism Index 2019. The seventh annual report covers key global trends and patterns in terrorism.

Global Terrorism Index – The report provides a comprehensive summary of the key global trends and patterns in terrorism over the last 50 years, covering the period from the beginning of 1970 to the end of 2018, and placing a special emphasis on trends since 2014, which corresponds with the start of the fall of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
