No, Islamist radicalisation is NOT new!

The phenomenon of radicalisation has been looked at in detail by security intelligence services and law enforcement agencies: it is not new.

Every time something bad happens, or even better is prevented from happening, people panic and ask why this is taking place now. What these same people forget is that these things have been going on for decades. Why do we have these memory gaps? Why do we not use what we already know, this time when it comes to Islamist terrorism and radicalisation? My conversation with Alex Pierson of 640 AM Toronto radio.
