January 18, 2018: Lone actor attack in West Bank

On January 18, 2018 a pregnant woman was moderately wounded by a terrorist in a stabbing attack near Jerusalem

GUSH ETZION, WEST BANK – Terrorists always portray themselves as heroes: they are often the exact opposite.

Take any piece of propaganda from any Islamist terrorist group. The actual group you choose does not really matter: Al Qaeda (AQ), Islamic State (ISIS), Al Shabaab (AS)…they are all more or less the same.

One thing you will notice rather immediately is that these organisations refer to their members in glowing terms. The words you will see are:

  • lion of Islam
  • army of Allah
  • soldier of God
  • doer of good

And there are a lot more.

It is rare to see the following terms in this kind of propaganda, including: wanker, loser, wannabe, and…coward.

It is time to meet a coward.

On this day in 2016

A pregnant woman was moderately wounded in a stabbing attack in Tekoa near Jerusalem. A 17-year old terrorist infiltrated Tekoa through an existing breach in its fence and went to a second-hand clothes store where he stabbed 30-year-old Michal Fruman, one of the employees, in her chest.

Something in people’s personal sense of security is broken. People want to turn this place into a sane place of coexistence, but they see the situation persists.

Mother-in-law of the victim

While trying to flee back through the hole in the fence the terrorist was shot and critically wounded by an armed civilian. Let’s review this ‘heroic act’ shall we? A teen stabs an unarmed pregnant woman in the chest as she is at work in a clothing store. Some heroism.

Lion of Allah? How about ‘lyin’ of Allah?
