January 29, 2016: Suicide bomber targets Friday prayers in Pakistan

On January 29, 2016 6 Pakistani soldiers and a child were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up in Balochistan during Friday prayers.

CANTT, PAKISTAN – Why is it that Islamist terrorists think they have a monopoly on faith?

One aspect of Islamist terrorism which has always puzzled – no, not only puzzled but seriously pissed off – is the way in which these jerks paint what they do in the framework of ‘faith‘. And, just a reminder of what they do: they kill lots of people indiscriminately.

They then say that they are doing ‘Allah’s‘ (i.e. God’s) work and that they are merely following his direction. As if Allah wants to see body parts strewn all over the place – NOT!

It is even worse when these attacks take place in an actual venue of religious worship (a church, a synagogue or even a mosque). That the terrorists cannot see the sacrilege behind this is beyond me!

On this day in 2016

Six Pakistani soldiers and a child were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up in Balochistan as he attempted to enter the area when the Friday prayers were underway. The terrorist detonated his load at a check-post after security personnel signaled him to stop.

One of the soldiers is in critical condition.

Hospital sources

Mehsud Taliban called Radio Free Europe and claimed responsibility for the attack. This was the sixth targeted attack on security forces in Quetta since the beginning of the year.

But during Friday prayers? Wait a minute…if this guy was acting ‘fi sabil Allah‘ why wasn’t HE at prayer? Hmmmm? So much for HIS religiosity!
