As we mark the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe – VE Day – we celebrate the sacrifices of the many who fought – and died. So what about VT Day – Victory against Terrorism? Alas that day will never be here.

As we mark the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe – VE Day – we celebrate the sacrifices of the men and women who fought – and died – fighting Nazi Germany. So what about VT Day – Victory against Terrorism?  Alas that day will never be here – have a listen as to why I think so.

Victory in Europe Day, generally known as VE Day or V-E Day, is a day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Nazi Germany’s unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe.
