Terrorism and terrifying acts are not synonymous

Many things are terrifying in our world but that does not mean that every single terrifying act is an act of terrorism

Is an act of terrorism a terrifying experience?  Undoubtedly, but that does mean the two are the same thing.  A recent allegation of terrorism in the case of a man who was desperate to get a date in Iowa shows that some have overused the ‘T’ word in recent years and this is not helpful.  Borealis weighs in on this issue in the latest Quick Hits podcast.
