Shamima Begum was a UK citizen who joined ISIS. Now she wants to come home but the government cancelled her citizenship. So now what?

Allowing runaway Shamima Begum to return to the UK to challenge her loss of British citizenship “would create significant national security risks”, the Supreme Court has been told. Ms Begum, 21, was one of three east London schoolgirls who joined the so-called Islamic State group in 2015.
